Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.
How far along? 29 weeks today
Maternity clothes? Oh yes!

Stretch marks? Nope, please stay this way!
Sleep: No more charlie horses/leg cramps this week! Sleep's been pretty decent.

Best moment this week: This is NBR (non-baby-related) but we got the BEST. DEAL. EVER. on a vanity/sink for our bathroom at Home Goods. I can't wait to finally re-do our bathroom! OH! We also got a new car!
Movement: All the time and all over!
Food cravings: I cut down the chocolate, for the most part. No weird cravings this week besides powdered donuts...but I didn't indulge :)
Gender: It's a girl!
Labor Signs: Some Braxton Hicks contractions just about daily, which are not fun.
Belly Button in or out? Still an innie, not for long though.

What I miss: RELAXING! We've been so busy lately.
What I am looking forward to: Well, I would say my last monthly OB appointment (I start going bi-weekly after this one) but I'm getting my Rhogam shot, so I'm really not looking forward to this one. I'm really looking forward to my baby shower this Sunday!
Weekly Wisdom: DRINK WATER UNTIL YOU CAN'T DRINK ANYMORE! It's the root to all evil in pregnancy :)What I am looking forward to: Well, I would say my last monthly OB appointment (I start going bi-weekly after this one) but I'm getting my Rhogam shot, so I'm really not looking forward to this one. What a hectic week. Jordan and I have just been crazy busy lately, I feel like this is becoming a trend. We're really trying to get everything we wanted to get done around the house by the end of this month (Can you believe it's June?). Now we've added yet another project to our to-do list: remodeling the bathroom. We THINK we can get this done in one weekend since our bathroom is so tiny. Our bathroom is so ugly, I can't wait to re-do it. Our house is pretty old (built in the 50's) so it needs quite a bit of work, but it's fun! Especially since I don't have to do anything :) I'll take before & after pictures of the bathroom so you can get the full "fugliness" that it was.
We also got a new car this week! We've been looking around the last couple weeks and then Jordan surprised me at work with a brand new Camry! I LOVE it! It's a dark metallic gray and so pretty :) I forgot how nice it is to drive a real car and not a Beetle. I could go shopping and actually put things in my trunk!
